• Insurance Cover:

  Please note that all online vehicle rentals with BCH exclude insurance cover. Insurance will be provided on the day of your hire when you collect the keys

• Insurance Costs:

  For a typical driver aged 21 and over, insurance is approximately £25 per day. Please be aware that rentals for periods longer than 5 days may result in lower fees. Additionally, drivers with penalty points on their driving licence may incur a higher insurance fee.

• Required Documentation:

  When you come to collect the keys and pay the final balance, please ensure you bring a valid driving licence. This is essential for us to process your rental efficiently.

  We accept all major credit cards, cash, and contactless payment methods for your convenience.

1. Overview:
   At Brackley Van and Car Hire, we prioritise the safety and satisfaction of our customers. Our Damage Waiver Policy provides our customers with options for liability concerning damage to rental vehicles. It is crucial that all hirers understand the implications of their choices regarding the Damage Excess fee.
2. Damage Excess Fee Options:
   When renting a vehicle from Brackley Van and Car Hire, hirers have the option to pay a Damage Excess fee of £60.00. This fee limits the hirer's liability in the event of an accident or damage to the vehicle.
3. Choosing Not to Pay the Damage Excess Fee:
   In the event of loss of or damage to the vehicle, and where the Damage Excess Waiver has not been purchased, the Customer shall be liable for all repair costs up to a maximum excess of £2,500.
   Where the Customer elects to purchase the Damage Excess Waiver at a cost of £60, the Customer’s liability for loss of or damage to the vehicle shall be limited to a maximum excess of £500 per incident.
   The Damage Excess Waiver reduces, but does not eliminate, the Customer’s liability and is subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions set out in this Agreement.

4. Liability for Damage:
   By opting out of the Damage Excess fee:

• The hirer acknowledges and accepts the increased liability of £2,500.00 and agrees to pay this amount directly to Brackley Van and Car Hire in the event of any damage occurring to the rented vehicle.
  
  
• The hirer understands that this policy will still apply irrespective of the circumstances surrounding the damage, including instances of theft or vandalism.
  
  

5. Terms and Conditions:
   This Damage Waiver Policy is in addition to the standard rental agreement terms and conditions. Hirers are encouraged to read and understand both documents fully before entering into a rental agreement with Brackley Van and Car Hire.
